Having graduated from the University of Western Ontario (LL.B.) in 1997, Nathalie was called to the New York State and Ontario Bars in 2000. Nathalie began her legal career with a large Bay Street firm, and then spent a number of years with a boutique firm in Yorkville prior to becoming a Partner with a small regional firm. With a desire to establish a strong and focused presence in Muskoka, Nathalie established TINTI LLP in late-2018.
Nathalie practises in the areas of Real Estate, Corporate/Business and Municipal law.
Nathalie’s real estate practice is focused on cottage country and waterfront properties, which involve unique legal issues relating to access, shore road allowances (OSRA), boathouses, Crown Patents and Leases, severances, and development-related matters. Nathalie is locally-recognized by real estate agents, planners and surveyors for her knowledge and ability to remedy complex title-related matters, and is frequently retained by other lawyers to ensure that they and their clients are well advised as to these unique issues. In this regard, Nathalie has spoken at a number of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events for the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) and Ontario Bar Association (OBA).
In her corporate/business practice, Nathalie has considerable experience with asset and share transactions, commercial leasing, business restructuring, the implementation of accounting- and tax-based strategies, incorporations, and other general corporate matters. Nathalie has also acted as municipal solicitor for several municipalities within Muskoka.
On a personal level, Nathalie is a proud mother of three children, and enjoys regular travel to her family’s home town in Umbria, Italy. In her younger years, Nathalie was a professional figure skater and travelled the world with Disney on Ice. Nathalie is also very committed to the local community, having served as President of the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce.
